JTOWN ARTWALK “WEEKEND EDITION" - September 9-11, 2022

ART OPENINGS AND PANEL DISCUSSION:

SEPTEMBER 9 (FRIDAY) - 6:00 - 9:00pm

  • Empire Seven Studios will be having an official grand opening at Exhibit Jtown and the opening of “State of Grace Twenty” a new exhibit curated by Taki Kitamura with over 30 artists celebrating the 20 year anniversary of State of Grace Tattoo.

SEPTEMBER 10 (SATURDAY)

  • JAPANESE AMERICAN MUSEUM SJ - Exhibit hours 5:00-7:00pm / Panel Discussion 5:30-6:30pm

    • In conjunction with “Creatives of Japantown” art exhibit at the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj), this will be an evening panel discussion with Juan Carlos Araujo of Empire Seven Studios , Taki Kitamura of State of Grace Tattoo and Momo Cha who has created some of the chalk art in the neighborhood

  • Cukui - 6:00 - 9:00pm

    • Cukui will be having a new community based group photography exhibit

SEPTEMBER 10 (SATURDAY) & SEPTEMBER 11 (SUNDAY) - 12:00PM-5:00PM

  • Art Market hosted by SJ Makers will be activating the new outdoor space located at Exhibit Jtown

  • Saturday - music will be provided by Love Talkin’ Sound.

  • Sunday - music and dancing provided by SF Bay Area Dance Movement (SFBADM).

  • Empire Seven Studios will be open for 20 year anniversary exhibit.
